At Dry Creek Station and Railcar Facility you can't get through to the Station at the moment
because of the Gawler line upgrade.
All the usual vantage points you can't get to as it's all restricted to get close enough to get good photo's
of the railcar facility

A
visit to see if there was any railcars in this new
facility. As soon as I arrived by the Dry Creek railway
station, was greeted
by railcar 3023 inside the railcar depot Southern
entry side by the pedestrian access to the Dry creek
Railway Station.

Arrived at the Dry Creek Railcar Depot next to the Dry Creek Railway Station 5 to 8 this morning , and all was quiet
2 Trans Adelaide railcars stopped at the railway station first was Gawler
bound, then the second was Adelaide Bound like usual . Then at 8.10 a.m a 3 railcar
set 3026/3115/3116 approached north bound and took the crossover
of the Gawler Line onto the entry track to the southern gate into the
Dry Creek Railcar Depot this was the first of 6 Trans Adelaide Railcar sets to entry the
new railcar depot Southern gates between 8.10 a.m to 8.50 a.m this morning 22/01/11 .
I took
pics of the first five railcar sets to enter this morning but not the sixth one. I talked to one Trans Adelaide employee about this morning’s railcars working in the railcar depot, which he described a work simulation at Dry Creek before the moving out of Adelaide Railcar Depot next Saturday the 29th of January 2011 .
I left at 9am after the sixth railcar set entered the Dry Creek Railcar Depot.
Not took pics of those as I reckon there
probably would of be some more railcars after I
left, so I can’t say just how many Trans Adelaide Railcar sets entered today but while I was there they were entering the railcar depot about every 10 Minutes on average . |
