| ‘Suburban Workings’ includes photographs of “Red Hen” railcars, re-built “red hens” numbered 2301 – 2302, the 2000 and 3000 series railcars which worked/work the suburban broad gauge network from Adelaide to Gawler, Belair, Noarlunga, Outer Harbour and other metropolitan locations. The “Red Hens” have now passed on into history and few of this class remain in a preserved/operational status. |
