FRANCES,
South East.
17th April 2007
(Wayne
Morris)
Closer to the silos, now shows a strategically
grown tree to stop runaway trucks on the centre track.
Turned around and looking back towards the station
with the silos, a truck the station somewhere in
the trees and the water tower.
More of the same, a better view of the tree
on the centre 'road'
The rusty rails heading north to 'nowhere'
Bangham and Wolseley.
Looking towards the silos and station
from the Wolseley end.
Naturally I would prefer to see rail grain hoppers
here. This is progress (the old AN way).
The station building showing the other end, which
is reasonably clear of vegetation / the water
tank
and the encroachment over all three tracks at this
location to allow grain trucks into the loading
facility
The old steam water tower.
The station name on the Wolseley / Bangham
end of the building.
Naracoorte end of the yard beyond the station.
The
trees are looking good and are growing beautifully.
