Retired engineman Naracoorte

Started S.A.R. service: 1st July 1941

Retired: 2nd March 1987 (almost 46 years)

Depots worked in

Mile End: 1941 - 1942 Cleaner - Fireman

Tailem Bend: 1942 - 1950 Fireman (qualified to drive)

Naracoorte: 1950 - 1987 Engineman

Tracks worked

Worked on all lines South of Adelaide including suburban,

except Sedan and Glencoe

Also worked as Fireman Mount Pleasant line.

Locomotives driven

Steam: P, F, Rx, 500, 520, 600, 620, 700/710, 720 (simplex Stoker), 730 (Duplex), 750.

Diesels: 350, 500, 830, 900, 930.

Railcars: Bluebirds.

Lines worked qualified to drive.

Wolseley - Mount Gambier
